You dream it, I'll draw it!

South Dakota based illustration artist, Alyssa L Tanner - After receiving my bachelor’s degree in illustration from Indiana Wesleyan University, I returned home to the South Dakota Prairie. My goal is to bring joy to those who view my art. I am inspired by my many trips to the Atlantic Ocean, where I’ve snorkeled above coral reefs and seen the animals that live there. Because of this experience, mermaids are one of my favorite subjects to illustrate. In my day to day life, you can find me in my studio creating illustrations for children’s stories, caricatures, and portraits. Another way I spread joy with my art is drawing live caricatures at events such a weddings and parties. I have been working as a professional illustrator and caricature artist since 2011.

I enjoy working digitally and traditionally. My favorite projects to work on are portraits (weddings, pets, people), and custom illustrations of epic stories.
